The reason for the test in our life

When we received a lot of test in our life, that means Allah loves us. Allah wants to hear us praying to Him in our difficult times. But on the contrary we always ask ourselves 'why me?'. Well, why not?

If we said we are the true believers than we will be tested. A test to our iman or faith. We can say that we are true believers but the test in our life will determine whether our words match our faith.
Once my friend was crushed because her husband had a new love. He had no qualm about making it clear to his wife that he had a new love in his life. He was always in mad mood and my friend was always the target of his anger. I was there to comfort her as much and as far as I can. I told her that there is something good waiting for her after all this suffering. Just like Allah's promise in Surah Al-Insyirah that means "So verily, with the hardship, there is relief. Verily, with the hardship, there is relief". Her husband eventually divorced her and marry his new sweetheart.

It was during this period that she met her old college mate that has always secretly admired her from far during college time. He took the second opportunity to ask her to marry him. They are happily married and I was there on their wedding day. I stumbled upon them this morning having breakfast in a restaurant with their second baby. Their happiness is clearly shown on their faces. They had find the relief that Allah has promise after every hardship.

So the next time we face a big test in our life concentrate our energy on the good thing that Allah promise will come on our way. Do not waste our energy and focus on our bad fate but divert them to what's good waiting for us behind all these.

May Allah bless us all.

qualm - an uneasy feeling of doubt, worry, or fear, esp. about one's own conduct; a misgiving : military regimes generally have no qualms about controllingthe press.
